I recently went to see LOVE for the second time. In case you live under a rock, LOVE is the Beatles/Cirque Du Soliel show currently playing at the Mirage Casino.

When the show first started, I had the good fortune of getting to see it. Although the music was great (hello? The Beatles?), the show itself was merely good. Truly though, there are so many great Cirque shows in town that it's hard not to be critical.

Now that the show has had a chance to mature, it has become something really special. The players, sets, lighting, themes, and of course the music, all come together (so to speak) to bring the Beatles alive in the room. In many ways, it is probably the closest thing anyone will ever experience to seeing the Beatles live.

LOVE not only captures the essence and feeling evoked by various Beatles songs, but also adds a depth of experience that can only be manifested through live art. It is an experience that evokes a thousand feelings and memories for anyone who knows this music, and leaves them feeling enriched and enlightened in the end. Even if you have heard this music and these songs a million times, you will feel like a Beatles virgin at LOVE.

The Grammy award winning work done by George Martin and his son is stunning in its own right. By accessing the original studio master recordings, remixing them using modern technology, and using creative license to blend songs and themes together, they have created what is essentially brand new Beatles music. 

Getting to hear this masterpiece through one of the best sound systems in the world is simply amazing. You cannot help but move and sing along. There are a google of speakers in the room, including at every single seat. You will hear and feel every nuance in the music. It is virtually guaranteed that you will hear details you have never heard before.
