Welcome

Celebrating 2009 and Beyond

As we close out 2008 and begin to prepare for the new year, we wanted to take a moment to thank all our friends, you, and to let you know how much we appreciate your patronage over the last year.

This has been a tumultuous year for many of us, and the same is true for Las Vegas Retreats. This year we moved into our new offices in Seven Hills, at about the same time that the economy really began to taper off. Timing is everything, right?

Still, with the addition of some wonderful new homes and the loyalty of our customers, we are finishing out the year with a bang.

Thank you again to everyone who stayed with us this year. And to the rest of you, we hope to see you soon. And to all our friends we say, may your new year be filled with love, joy, happiness, success, and most of all FUN!

From The Staff at Las Vegas Retreats

Las Vegas Fireworks Grounded

In case you have not heard, this years fireworks display on the Las Vegas Strip will be launched from ground level. Unlike in years past, no fireworks will be launched from casino roofs. Therefore, and this is the important thing, displays will only be visible to those on the Strip.

For anyone wanting to attend, your best bet would be to locate one of the many vantage points designated along the Strip. See the Las Vegas Sun for more information.

Las Vegas Sign Gets a Lot
After years of braving the traffic along one of the busiest sections of the Strip, visitors finally have a safe place to park for picture taking in front of the famous Las Vegas sign.

The newly opened lot is located in the middle of the boulevard, as is the Las Vegas sign, and offers multiple spaces to accommodate the expected traffic.

Anyone who lives in Las Vegas can tell you that watching tourists risk their lives for a snapshot in front of the sign can be nerve wracking. Especially when the tourists have some libation in their system.

The sign is located on Las Vegas Blvd, just south of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
